Make an immediate societal impact by turning data into action

Our client’s Recruitment & Selection department is in a crucial phase of professionalisation. To ensure the continuity and quality of our data-driven approach, we are looking for a sharp Data Analyst. In this role, you will be the architect of our management information, laying the foundations on which strategic decisions are made to effectively tackle staffing shortages within this public sector organisation.

This is no standard interim assignment. You will have a unique opportunity to make yourself indispensable within the ImpactWork team. Following this initial three-month period, there is a clear pathway to join us on a secondment or permanent contract, helping us build upon our social mission together.

What skills are we looking for?
  • Higher vocational or university level of working and thinking (HBO/WO)
  • Advanced Excel and Power Query skills
  • Work experience in HR/Recruitment or Marketing Analytics
  • Strong advisory skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
These skills are a bonus

The challenge: what will you be doing?

As a Data Analyst, you will dive deep into the recruitment funnel to identify drop-offs and optimise processes. Your mission:

  • Translating complex recruitment and HR data into crystal-clear, dynamic dashboards that drive immediate action.

  • Analysing the recruitment funnel in detail: where are we losing talent, and how can we improve conversion rates per sourcing channel?

  • Proactively identifying trends and bottlenecks, and translating them into strategic opportunities for improvement.

  • Coaching teams to use data not merely as a reporting tool, but as a compass in their day-to-day operations.

To understand the impact of your work, the scale of this environment is key. You will operate in a dynamic landscape featuring:

  • 40,000+ applications per year

  • 3,000+ hires per year

  • A Recruitment & Selection team of 100+ dedicated colleagues

  • 30+ active improvement projects per year

Who are you?

For this role, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and work independently with existing operational tools and reporting frameworks. Please refer to the required skills above.

What do we offer?

  • A challenging assignment with genuine social impact.

  • A clear opportunity to join ImpactWork on a secondment or permanent contract after the initial three months.

  • A dynamic environment where your work adds immediate value.

  • Collaboration within a motivated and engaged team.

  • A competitive, market-aligned rate commensurate with the required commitment and expertise.
