Why 25% of our profits goes to others
Not because it looks good on a website. But because we see, every day, where the labor market falls short. We advise organizations on sustainable HRM, employee wellbeing, and more human ways of working. But let’s be honest — not everyone is lucky enough to work at such an organization. Some people don’t even get in the door.
The refugee without a network. The young person from a disadvantaged neighborhood with no connections. The ex-offender who wants to start over but doesn’t get the chance. For them, it doesn’t matter how progressive an HR policy is — they’re still left out. That’s what the ImpactWork Foundation is for.
This year, our support goes to eight organizations:
- NewBees builds what refugees need most: a network. Because without connections, there’s no job. And without a job, there’s no real place in society.
- CliniClowns might seem like the odd one out. But anyone who’s ever seen what a smile does for a sick child or someone with dementia knows: wellbeing doesn’t begin in the workplace.
- MIND fights the stigma around mental health. In a time where burnout and stress are reaching epidemic levels, this isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity.
- Liliane Fonds supports children with disabilities in developing countries. Because a fair chance at work begins with a fair chance at development.
- BARKA helps homeless EU migrants — people who came here for work but got stuck in the system. They deserve more than just a park bench.
- Alliantie Springplank connects companies to social issues. Because the big challenges won’t be solved by one player alone.
- Gevangenenzorg Nederland supports (ex-)offenders toward a fresh start. Because those who have served their sentence deserve a real second chance.
And then there’s an eighth. But we’re keeping that name to ourselves for now. Not to be mysterious — but because this organization deserves a story of its own. We’ll share it on January 8.
What We Hope
We know we’re (still) not a big player. Our donations won’t change the world overnight. But as a consultancy, we believe in the power of small steps — of pilots that grow, of ideas that stick. The Foundation is our way of giving back. Of not just talking about a labor market that works for everyone, but actually building it. One organization, one project, one person at a time.
Next year, we’ll keep going. With workshops, with our annual research on sustainable HRM, and with new partnerships. But for now: thank you to everyone who makes this possible by working with us.
Your investment in ImpactWork is also an investment in them.
