Board Member – IT & Finance

Are you an experienced executive with a passion for IT and Finance? Would you like to contribute your expertise to a leading cooperative in the southern Netherlands? Then this is your opportunity!

We are looking for a new member of the Supervisory Board with proven leadership experience in IT and Finance, and a strong understanding of financial processes and IT systems. Experience in the executive management of a staffing or recruitment agency is essential. You are a strategic thinker with a critical eye, strong communication skills, and a true team player.

Context

AB Werkt Zuid-Nederland is currently undergoing significant change and transformation.

On the one hand, the agricultural sector is constantly evolving; on the other, there are ongoing changes in legislation related to temporary employment and the housing of migrant workers. As a result, strengthening the Supervisory Board is essential—particularly in the area of various forms of labour mediation.

Affinity with the agricultural sector and/or experience with cooperatives is considered an asset.

Time commitment:
The role requires an average of approximately 6–8 meeting days per year. In addition, time is needed for preparation, contact with the executive board and fellow commissioners, and potential participation in board committees.

Compensation:
This position offers a market-based remuneration in line with the responsibilities and scope of the organisation. The compensation is reviewed annually by the general assembly.
